Thank you for visiting my humble abode. Now that you are here, I hope that you enjoy your stay and find what you are looking for. Kick off your shoes, sit back, and poke around a while! Feel free to drop me a line to let me know what you think.
In addition to the customary biography, photos, résumé, and information about hobbies, likes, dislikes, etc., I have posted some personal writings that you may find interesting. Should you lose your way amongst the pages in my site, check the Table of Contents (also referred to as Webmap) page to see how the site is laid out and to get your bearings. The What's New page is where I keep track of ongoing changes or additions to this site. If you are a return visitor, use the What's New page as a guide for what has been updated since your last visit. As a personal website, this is purely an effort of fun and recreation.
I welcome all comments, suggestions, or criticisms you may have. Please enjoy your visit and come back soon!
This site was originally designed, created, and maintained using Microsoft FrontPage 98. I brought the entire site into compliance with HTML 4.01 and CSS Level 2.1 standards, which included eliminating all residual elements of FrontPage themes, Microsoft-proprietary components, and other non-compliant attributes, during 2010. Compliant pages now include the appropriate W3C "Valid" certification icons. In late 2011, the entire site was migrated to travelearl.com due to my previous service provider's termination of personal webspace service. For the ideal browsing experience, I recommend that you visit this site with at least: Internet Explorer V6.0 (or an equivalent browser that supports HTML 4.01 and CSS 2.1), 1024x768 resolution, 32-bit color, images turned on, and a broadband Internet connection, such as AT&T U-Verse.
I have been involved in several ongoing web design projects. A previous employer, Excelsus®, finished a complete overhaul and redesign of its corporate website in May 2001. I served as the Project Manager for that effort and was responsible for keeping the content of the site current during the first year of uptime. I relinquished any input into that site many years ago; however, there are a few components from that redesign that still remain active today. I mention that here because the experience did much to stoke my amateur interest in websites. My effort to convert this site from FrontPage 98 to HTML standards compliance (mostly by hand coding) tested the limits of my interest. However, I remain fascinated by the programming aspect of web design. Please email me for more information or to let me know your feedback about the site...
